I have just been encouraged to think evangelism as more of an expectation of the Christian rather than a command. 
It reminds me of the early church in Acts where we see their contagious attitude of being unable to keep themselves from speaking of the things they have seen and heard... and as they gathered, heard the word, devoted themselves to the fellowship etc... many were added to their number.]]></description>

Probably not...unless you take 1 pet 3:15 that way...

I think you could argue that the good news is a gift though and gifts are given to be used well. (e.g. Matt 25:14-30 - in regard to being entrusted with something of value)
